Sunday was part 3 of our Heaven's Culture series...and my FIL spoke on Hospitality. You know what has been so great through this series? I believe it's been the continual reminder that we are called to bring Heaven's Culture to our House (Life Church or wherever your church might be located) and our homes and that we ALL have a part to play! Remember...
Culture CREATES the environment
that we do life in!
And an OVER THE TOP CULTURE OF HOSPITALITY is a culture we must endeavor to create both in God's House and in our own lives and circle of influence. A culture of hospitality is:
-welcoming
-friendly
-considerate
-open
The biggest takeaway for me from the message was this:
"It is our RESPONSIBILITY to welcome EVERYONE into God's House just like it's our own house."
WOWZA - THAT's GOOD STUFF RIGHT THERE!!!
