It was so great to hear Pastor Luke Smith bring the word at church yesterday. We had such a powerful morning in worship and it continued right through the rest of the service. He spoke on the theme of our series "Live Passionately" and our key verse out of Romans 12:11..."never be lacking in zeal"
So you might be wondering "why the subtitle - Dip Happens?" I really loved how Pastor Luke spoke on the truth of hitting the "dips" in our life...the one's where we cannot find anything to be passionate about and that when the "dip" happens often times all of the good stuff we have learned and experienced about God settle to the bottom of who we are and we become passionLESS. He used the analogy of a ketchup bottle...you might be wondering....WHAT???? Well, just think about it for a moment...you know how that clear nasty liquid comes squirting out if you don't shake it up??? EWWWWWWWWW......GROSS!!!!!!!! But when the bottle is given a few good shakes...KETCHUP ROCKS! I was so challenged by his message! We must personally make a decision to stay STIRRED UP for more of Him. It is not anyone else's responsibility, but our own! LOVE THIS!!!
