Hey there!! We are having some technical delays in uploading the message from Sunday, which by the way was UHMAZING!!!! My husband spoke on "Worship Passionately" and it was so incredibly challenging and inspiring! I like to link the video in this post, but do not want to delay my thoughts on the message any longer. So stay tuned for the upcoming link of the video when it gets posted!
SO, where do I start! Let me just first start off by saying that, Jon truly lives and breathes what he spoke about on Sunday. It is just "IN HIM" and it pours "OUT OF HIM" in everything that he does! One of the many things that spoke to me and challenged me, was that as believers it is not our choice on whether we worship...it is our RESPONSIBILITY! And he also asked the question, "Is my primary passion God?" You know, I'd really like to think that it is, but I was really convicted to evaluate my own walk with the Lord and seek for Him to show me how I can PASSIONATELY PURSUE Him through everything that I say and do! Through Jon's message, I was reminded that our worship keeps us fired up. Our worship strengthens our passion! I don't want to be a fuddy dud Christian that just goes through the motions. I want to encounter with the living God on a daily and moment by moment basis. And that often requires ALL of me! Not just the parts I'm willing to release, but ALL of them! I'll end with this, in Mark 12:30 it says we are to Love the Lord with all of our heart, with all of our mind, with all of our strength, and with all of our soul. That simply does not leave anything out...does it? I loved how my hubby said that scripture can help us understand the concept of "TOTAL BEING WORSHIP" We worship FROM our heart and mind WITH our soul and strength!
