TAUGHT an amazing message entitled WORTH yesterday in church. It spoke so deeply to my heart and I LOVED every minute of it! I love how my hubby can be so real and funny during his messages. He makes people laugh and just in case you were wondering - IT IS OKAY TO LAUGH IN CHURCH! He started his message off by simply asking the question...."what am I worth?"
After being asked that question, my mind immediately goes to "what have I got that makes me worth something....degree? a new car? a house with a ton of equity?" And for the record - we have NON of that...HA! We are so easily entangled by this lie that what we are worth is EARNED....
My man set the record straight....we cannot EARN our worth! It is a GIFT!! And a gift is FREELY GIVEN! Our worth is found in Jesus. God cares about each and every one of us so much that He sent Jesus to be crushed on the cross for us. This was such a fresh reminder of how gracious God is...
NOTHING can ever separate us from God's love and grace! He is love and He is grace! The END!
